April is National Poetry Month--at Bookends & Beginnings and everywhere else--and in addition to hosting the RHINO poets on April 28 (see below!), we are delighted to welcome four prominent poets for a reading the week before, on Friday, April 21. Henry Israeli is the author of several volumes of poetry and is also the translator of three books by Albanian poet Luljeta Lleshanaku. He will be reading from god's breath hovering across the waters (Four Way Books, 2016). Simone Muench is the author of six full-length books, including Orange Crush (Sarabande, 2010) and Wolf Centos (Sarabande, 2014). She will be reading from her most recent book, Suture, a book of sonnets written with Dean Rader (Black Lawrence, 2017). Michael Robins will be reading from his In Memory of Brilliance & Value (Saturnalia, 2015). He has published two previous collections of poetry. Abigail Zimmer is the author of girls their tongues (Orange Monkey Publishing, 2017) and the chapbooks fearless as I seam (Dancing Girl Press, 2014) and child in a winter house brightening (Tree Light Books, 2016), which received the Chicago Review of Books' 2016 Poetry Award.
