Nibbling & Tippling with the Authors of The Chicago Food Encyclopedia and Beermiscuous Field Guide

Sample some of the foods that define Chicago as a Foodie City – and some of the best contemporary local craft beers. Free!

To cap off Small Business Saturday, we're hosting the author/editors of two great new (gift-worthy) books about what makes Chicago such a fabulous foodie city. The Chicago Food Encyclopedia is the ultimate reference guide to our culinary history and culture, from Grant Achatz to Zebra Mussels, with stops along the way for Baby Ruth bars, Hot Doug's, Saganaki, and much much more.

The Beermiscuous Field Guide is the Ultimate Adventurer's Guide to Craft Brewery Taprooms and Breweries in the Chicago area, including Sketchbook, Smylie Brothers, and Temperance Beer.

We invite you to sample some of the foods and some of the best contemporary local craft beers featured in both these books, while chatting with the authors and checking some items off your holiday shopping list.
